The Office Pigs
The Office pigs are seven brothers and sisters who came to us from Miami. A kind friend found them listed for sale online and immediately rescued them, not yet knowing where she would take them – she just knew she needed to save them. Often, pigs will be picked up by dogfighting operations to train their dogs. Pigs have very thick, rough skin, so a dog who can kill a pig is considered an accomplished fighter.
They are named after Dwight, Jim, Pam, Angela, Michael, Stanley, and Kevin, the characters from NBC’s The Office. They are sweet, gentle, and love attention, affection, and a freshly filled kiddie pool.
The Office Pigs share their space with Henry, who was found at a flea market as a tiny, extremely malnourished piglet and as a result is blind and deaf, Huckleberry and Pinkerton, whose pregnant mother was rescued from a slaughter auction, Matilda, our family’s first “farm animal,” and the Simpsons Pigs, who were found abandoned on a property in Spring Hill: mama Marge and her babies, Lisa, Maggie, Bart, Sherri, and Terri.
